ENTRANCE SLAB & DOUBLE TEE REPAIR

Project Overview:

Installation of new reinforced floating entryway concrete slab at new entryway at Phipps Plaza located in Atlanta, Georgia​.

Also included was the repair to a damaged double tee member located in adjacent parking deck.

Services Provided:

- Removal of existing entryway concrete slab

- Installation of new reinforcing steel and slide bearings to tie new and old structure together while allowing for thermal movement

- Installation of new concrete entryway slab

- Full height shoring installation of damaged double tee member

- Epoxy injection of cracks at double tee member

- Concrete spall repair

- Full double tee in-place stem removal and replacement

- Replacement stem was constructed with new reinforcing steel and post tensioned cables that were stressed after new stem was cast in place
