Concrete Repair and Cleaning, Expansion Joint Systems

ERI was hired during a routine maintenance shut-down to clean, repair and disinfect two clear wells at the AFCWTP. The process consisted of draining the clear wells, pressure wash the interior surfaces, remove residuals from the bottom surface, repair any damaged concrete, replace existing expansion joint material with 8" and 12" Combiflex expansion joints, and lastly disinfect interior surfaces utilizing approved AWWA methods.

Repairs of cracks and deteriorated concrete were performed at four settling basins at the City of Palmetto, GA water treatment facility. Repairs were achieved utilizing two component polymer modified mortar, polyurethane injection grout, and a two component polymer modified cementitious waterproofing.

The President Street Wastewater Treatment Plant is the main wastewater treatment facility for the city of Savannah, GA treating an average of 18 million gallons of wastewater per day. ERI has performed leak investigation and repair utilizing urethane grout injection and construction of custom roof curb assemblies.

Specialized Concrete Placement, Spall Repair and Patching, Sealants and Caulking

ERI successfully repaired a damaged clear well structure at the Quarles Water Treatment Plant in Cobb County Georgia. The repair work included jacking and supporting slabs, forming and pouring an additional support column inside the clear well, removing damaged concrete, coating exposed rebar, patching damaged concrete, and re-establishing the water-tight integrity of several construction joints.
